Deep ruby color. Offers raspberry, red plum, potting soil, hard cheese and hints of coffee and truffle. Silky texture, full-bodied, with firm, rustic tannins. Drank mostly on Day 2, when the tannins had mellowed a bit. Dark fruit, truffle and earthy undertones on the palate.

Simple but enjoyable everday Bordeaux, ready to drink. Perhaps will improve a bit.

Medium Body, good color - upfront easy and soft, middle to end some dark fruit - fig and earthy notes with an ending that was slightly smokey.

From half bootle. After 1 hour of decanting, intense aromas of pencil shavings, cassis, plums, cherry, licorice, vanilla, smoke. Medium+ body, high acidity, medium+ tannins, spicy finish.
