  • Pale lemon in colour.
Nice aromas, tropical fruit such as pineapple, melon, banana, with pronounced floral notes, also some green apple and a dash of asparagus. This wine also displays a pronounced flinty/smokey character. Have only found one source implying this has had some oak treatment, but to me it must have. The oakiness pairs well with the vanilla and buttery character.
This wine is medium bodied, fresh with a buttery/creamy element. Apple, lemon, pineapple fruit flavours with balanced acidity transcend nicely into the buttery finish with hints of oak. The fruit is very ripe and has a nice sweetness, but this is strictly a dry wine. Its a lovely chardonnay. Plus its ridiculously cheap in spain, always helps!

  • Revealing soft notes of hay and meadows. Fresh and crisp Chardonnay with a complex finish which keeps lingering. Very tasty wine with a tiny amount of sugary residue.

  • Eigentlich ganz lecker aber tatsächlich ist der Wein für mich nicht als Chardonnay zu erkennen, viel zu würzig und fruchtig irgendwie. Dennoch ganz gut wegzuschlabbern.

  • Wine Wednesday (Free & Easy) (Extra Space): Tasted blind. Drank from decanter over 2 hours.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of flowers, salty minerality, tropical melons, hints of lychee. Youthful.
On the palate, dry, medium acidity, medium+ alcohol (14.5% though!), medium+ body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of tropical melons, sweet cream, salty minerality, sslight lychees. Medium finish.
Now honestly this does not smell or taste like a Chardonnay at all! Fails in that regard. Seems to me like there could be a significant percentage of Gewurztraminer mixed into this.
Apparently a 100% Chardonnay from single vineyard.
