showing poorly due to my own over aging. Brick red/burnt Siena in color. Not much nose other than a little raisiny tawny port aroma. Same on the palate with some burnt flavor as well. No fruit other than raisin. Oh well.

Over the hill and disappointing. There was a nice carmel flavor on the palate but no fruit was left. Thin and somewhat acidic. Could have been a bad bottle as others have not been this way. One bottle left which I will try in the next year on an evening when I have a back-up plan in place. Those present who liked old wines thought it was fine to enjoy for what it was, but the rest were less willing to let it cross there lips a second time.

Oops. Not drinkable, no fruit left - only sugar and alcohol, with a cheap tawny port finish.
I held onto this too long – I hate it when that happens.
