Not sure how I managed to save this for this long. Really drinking well. The nose is deep with black raspberries, grilled meats, leather and pepper. On the palate, still on the youthful side but starting to show some complex layering. We drank this over two nights with no degradation. Delicious.
Beautifully balanced, moderately rich, seamless, and well integrated. Drinking well now with no real upside for future cellaring. Not the most complex bottle of wine but the great balance and seductively feminine styling (common to most Terry Hoage's) make for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. More about mouthfeel and balance than straight flavor profiles, this is a nice change of pace from many of the heavier Paso Rhone blends. Outstanding mature wine.
