There's plenty of Nahe fruit salad here -- melon, peach, lime, orange -- along with some spicy cinnamon and ginger, and it's also nicely earthy with lovely silky extract. Shows a bit sweet at first with some petrol, but with air the petrol blows off, the sweetness integrates, and it tightens up nicely with the acidity and earthiness becoming more prominent, with a distinct orange peel note through the finish. Excellent.
Taste: Medium/full bodied with medium acidity. The feel is showing some maturity in that there is layering and refinement with green apples, figs, peaches, saline, and some petrol tones as well.
Overall: This is drinking great right now. The acidity is perfectly in balance with the rest of the wine. The tones are showing right in that region of youth and maturity that can make this really interesting.
Petrol and honey on the nose. Stony. Palate shows ripe fruit and sweet, honeyed finish. Borders on too sweet for me, but paired with Momofuku-style spicy hangar Ssam, it was perfect. Alone, a tad sweet and lacked a bit of structure and acid for me.
