In the bouquet there are some organic impressions at first and they disappear very slowly. Then mushrooms, autumn forest, rust, cherries and tobacco appear. On the palate quite mature as well, silky soft tannin, some iron/rust and some dust. Still some mature fruity impressions. A nice and fairly complex wine. Ready now or even a bit past its prime. Opinions differed a bit in the group. I scored the wine 89 due to its complexity, but certainly not for its vitality. A bit disappointing for a 1999.
