Slightly corked. It seemed a nice wine was lurking beneath the taint.

Same as before. Everything is nicely balanced. From the "Sweetness"it reminded me of some Chambolle Groffiers from 2000, very elegant and cool for a Gevrey.
Ian's Blind @ Medlar (Medlar, London): Again, quite sweet-savoury. Very sweet and quite spicy with a minerally, quite vibrant red fruit. Pinot, a little drier. Morey? ****
Fine drink, balanced, full, nicely "creamy", wood clean handled, enough acidity to live on.
Great mature Burgundy. Typical Gevrey earthy sous-bois nose with chocolate, mushroom and tobacco tones. Velvety sweet taste, black and red fruit, mellowed tannins, complex.
