  • This is still drinking fantastic, really. The menthol/mint note was quite fascinating (but enjoyable ), and is at a beautiful age to drink now. Was a privilege to drink.

  • A rarity and a treat. Nose of lemon drop, mountain herbs, Honey, honeysuckle. - pinpoint bright and gorgeous. Palate is stunning - young and golden. Honey and mint and menthol, amazing Lift - finish is crisp and complex. This reminded me of some of the 01 Christoffel wines - full and everything so perfect in proportion. Spectacular. Thanks Sasha!

  • Drank as part of the Riesling Study event in Chicago. This wine showed wonderful promise early on, but to me there was mushroom tones that distracted from the fruit. I think there was just something a little funky about this particular bottle.

  • @ restaurant PM & Vänner, Växjö, Sweden

Incredible nose of flint, rubber and smoke. Also grapefruit, lemon, pear and a certain spicy herbaceousness. With time less petrol and smoke and more fruit but staying in the same spectrum. On the palate quite sweet for a kab, drinking more like a spätlese but still very fresh and racy. An intense mineral feeling mingle with the fruit compotte and gradually fades into a long, citrus infused finish. Wow!

  • An outstanding Riesling drinking superbly now. This is in that phase where the pear, green apple and citrus fruit flavours still feel remarkably fresh and youthful, but it's already showing some savoury development around the fruit, with smoky, creamy, and classic Grünhaüs pine needle and forestal elements adding accents. It starts out feeling a touch rich on the palate (more Spätlese than Kabinett), but with more air the fruit feels lighter and more delicate, and it finishes with a wash of mineral notes on the back end.
