I bought this on a whim when my dealer was bin-ending it, fearing that it might be a bit old. Initially on opening it was rather strongly acidic, but that moderated rapidly and after 15 minutes it's not bad at all.
On the nose white flowers and minerality, with much the same on the palate, with perhaps a touch of smokiness; fairly rounded in the mouth with a light bite, and a finish which is moderately long, refreshing and mineral.
This is not bad QPR at the ~US$12.50 that I paid.

Pinot Gris is a grape that is hard to love (for me anyhow). I keep trying and this is a solid effort--some dry fruit and mineral. Improves on day two but will never be great.

Well it doesn't taste anything like an SB to me!
