Brought by Allred to CWM dinner at Adelle's. If tasting blind, I would have thought Bordeaux. Enough said for me. No score given so as to not skew the averages.

Decanted off its sediment and rebottled approx two and a half hours before we got around to it. Aromas of perfumed red fruit and plum and limestone. Medium-bodied. Flavors of plum and black raspberry with a subtle earthy note. Tannins have not fully integrated and are a bit chewy. I am not sure where this is headed and would drink up before the fruit fades away.

Opened by Allred. Rich and more concentrated than the Quinault. Firm tannins at 12 years old. Black currant, plum and chocolate notes. Medium to full bodied. 91 points.

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (Rich & Dana's): Rich red fruit tones, followed by dark fruit and herb qualities. Balanced, with cherry and red fruit tones on the palate. Medium finish.

Dinner with xhoser: old & new world comparisons (Adelle's, Wheaton): The first ten acres of the Pepper Bridge Vineyard were planted in 1991 with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvinon. This was the last Andrew Will wine from the Pepper Bridge Vineyard.
