Soft subtle. Tasted more like a Merlot-dominant blend than a Cabernet. Decent enough wine - just not very "cabernet-esque". Certainly agree with other reviews that the QPR isn't the best. If you have it - you will enjoy it just fine. If you don't have it yet, don't worry, you haven't really missed much.
An ok cabernet, but not really QPR. A fairly flat taste with hints of cab franc green-peppers and a hairspray-at-the-back-of-the-throat feel that you have to work to get past. Once it had decanted for several hours it was fine, but why bother? It's nothing we're going to want to come back to.
On our 4 point scale, call it a 2 = "Would drink it if put in front of me, but not going to go out of my way for it".
