  Lovely gentle Burg. Savory aroma, super mouth feel, the remnants of tannin. I enjoyed this a lot. At its peak i would think. A few bottles remain fortunately. Better than expected.

  The dial hasn't moved much since a first btl a little over 3 years ago. It still has a bit of detracting rusticity stand alone that disappears with food. With food this was a 88pt wine / without 85ish. Earthy with tart lean red fruit & spice. Too bad its a tad unfriendly stand alone. My last of 2 btls. Won't revisit. 13% alc.

  A soft touch; pretty, subtle nose of red cherry and not a whole lot else. Nice acidic spine on the palate. Having posted this, I see some felt the QPR quite impressive - is mine an off bottle?
