  Schon granatrot und relativ klar in der Farbe, leichte Schlieren am Glas, trocken mit einer Spur Süße von der Frucht. Etwas Fruchtsäure, die Tanine spürbar, aber gut entwickelt und vornehm im Hintergrund. Sehr typische Noten im Geschmack von allen drei Rebsorten: Chianti mit Bordeaux vermählt. Absolut gelungen, jede Note kommt zum tragen. Viel feine Frucht nach Beeren und Kirschen. Im Körper nicht zu schwer, nicht so opulent wie moderne Weine (aus Übersee und neuerdings Bordeaux) sondern eher klassisch: Feine Aromen im Spiel mit feinen Säuren. Langanhaltender Geschmack im Mund. Ein sehr gelungener Wein im besten Alter. Mehr als 28 Euro würde ich aber nicht bezahlen.

  Equal parts Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. Aged separately in barrique for 7-8 months, blended, put back into barrique for another 7-8 months, then bottled and left for a final 7-8 months before release. Dark ruby/black colour; almost opaque. Aromas of blackcurrant, vanillan/oak, black licorice, black cherry, black plums. Big nose. Medium-full bodied, with dark fruit and vanilla. Good structure. Moderate finish, 35s, with black fruit. Needs another couple years.
