Enjoyed with John Steele at Addison in San Diego. Good deep color, tending toward darker fruits. Needs more time to settle, but we’ll balanced with a pleasantly long finish.

Very good, surprisingly open right now. Accessible but it really needs a few more years to shine. Maybe the vintage is what is making these wines open for business now

Very pretty nose; cranberry and spicy red fruit. Excellent brightness on the palate; medium- bodied with fantastic soft tannin on the finish.

Thursday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Lafarge, Lamarche, Château De La Tour and Dublère (Cote d'Or): Barrel tasting at the domaine. Almost identical flavor profile to the Volnay AC just with greater length and density. Also VG+ for its level, and probably price.
