What was i thinking? Even with a 2hr decant, this was still tight as a drum... but the underlying material was superb and looks to be a wow wine in the next 10 years

Decanted 1hr+. Ruby, long legs, fruit forward fragrance with ripe raspberry coming strong and notes of peppercorn , graphite , leather, watermelon, vanilla. Dry, medium tannins, highly acidic, balanced taste of raspberry and nectarines. Great balance of fragrance and taste.

Decanted for one hour. The nose is very expressive - plums, blackberries… on the palate some espresso notes, wet forest floor, plums… then some cedar wood, spice, and leather notes. Good acidity, tannic finish. This will still evolve for a few years and tertiary flavors will develop more - no doubt. What a great wine!

Failed to read my note from earlier this year and alter my drink-from tag in cellar! A great wine in the making but hold till 2023 at the very least. 92 now but with 95?+ potential with patience.

First broaching for four years and still needs time! 3hr aerated decant. Focussed blueberry, wild raspberry, firm tannins and alcohol boosted acidity (white spirity?). Tight core. Drinkable but unyielding at present if undoubtedly with huge potential. Another three years in the hold!! (at least). 95 pointer with time.
