  This still has strong stewed prune flavors. Clearly a highly extracted more modern style that has not lasted well. It is not bad, but would never be confused for a Brunello.

  This was good, but not great. Seems a bit on the extracted/modern side. Perfectly pleasant to drink over an evening, but not the greatest example of an aged Brunello.

  PPart of 1997 Tuscan tasting. Double decanted 2-3 hours before tasting. Everyone agreed this was the least favorite. Did not come across as a bad bottle. Just very stewy, without much fruit or complexity.
