Aromas of dark cherry and earth waft up from the glass. The palate floods with red and black fruits such as strawberry, cherry, blackberry, and plum, along with supporting notes of licorice, vanilla and oak. Medium+ tannins, medium alcohol, medium acidity. Good QPR. I do not usually care for Sangiovese, but this blend delivers a solid weekday Italian that could pair with many different foods. Would buy again.
