Aromas of deep blackberry, cassis, lots of black pepper, with hints of white flowers. The palate has some brief fruit and pepper flavors followed by chalky tannins. Finishes hot. Exhibits a lot of extraction but not a lot of concentration. I like the nose much better than the palate.
