Pale and thin looking for a Shiraz. Need some time to open in the glass/bottle. Suggest not decanting as it may fall flat? Lovely delicate raisin spice flavours. Burgundy meets northern Rhone. Great with the right food. Unusual but v enjoyable.

Opaque red with signs of garnet at the edges. Full-bodied and a little chewy. Nice aromas of fruit and earth. A little disappointing on the palate compared to other YY 94's. A nice gamy Rhone style, but without the punch. Drinking fine. 12/00
