had this a few weeks ago but my last few remaining Kistlers sadly highlight that I may have drunk many of these too young. i really enjoyed this - lots of fruit still left in it, and good acidity. time has dampened any overt oak. def not much minerality and fuller bodied so will not be mistaken for a white burg. but i really enjoyed this more than i expected

fully mature chard, and probably a bit past its prime drinking window. nice aromatics and med-full bodied on the palate. acidity is falling off a bit so I would drink up

Kistler is my favorite US Chardonnay. 2014 probably close to end of prime drinking window. Compared to couple of years ago the acidity is down and extremely smooth. Fruity with peach lemon but again not acidic. At this point reminds me of a southern Rhône blend with slight sweetness. If not for the price it would be only Chardonnay I would drink. Compares favorably to a Burgandy from Montrachet costing several times more.

Continued to drink really well over several days, moderate oak but well balanced with the fruit

Golden yellow, packed with tropical fruits, pineapple, lemon, and a great finish
