This was fantastic. Iodine and a lot of spicy curry notes on the nose. Light walnut as well. I was expecting a more oxidised style but this is midly oxidised. Wine is flowing on your palate, superb acidity with more lemony notes on a medium body. Awesome comte rind notes as well. Long finish. Complex and fresh. I love it!

Fantastic. It had all the funk of yore. I don't know what the story was with the last bottle. Maybe it was me? This bottle showed a little VA which seemed to recede as the fruit stretched out with air. Nut oils, citrus peel, clove, complexity that goes on and on.

It's rare to find wines from the Jura and of this style in the US, and this one nails it. Absolutely delicious. Herbal/medicinal and dandelions on the nose. The tip of the tongue's a little weak if the wine gets too warm, but there's enough acidity to balance the dried citrus, slightly salty body. The finish is the best part: first nuts, then vanilla that just won't quit for 15 or 20 seconds.

Nice. I had to stand it up for awhile to get the sludge to settle in the bottom. If you can, give it a week or so if you want the wine clear.

On the 92 side of 91-92. Second best young Arbois of the year for me.
