Not as good as the first bottle some time back. Nice nose with peach there, on the palate initially sharp giving way to fruit with some apple in there. Nice finish, good value but not a great wine.

Nice wine, crisp golden colour with a nice nose of peach. Typical Viognier taste with a tight, fruit integration that shows some peach and melon. Nice acidity with a hint of spice on the finish. A quality wine especially at this price

wonderful nose of floral, sweet, fresh apricots. a touch hot, but very good. this wine is better when it warms up slightly than just out of the fridge.

SMELL: Certainly a Floral nose with a bit of Asparagus & Straw. TASTE: Very Stringent initially on the palate. Again i could taste a little bit of Asparagus but certainly not overpowering like some Sav Blancs, also could taste a bit of Creamy Honey. It is a good wine but sorry i can't rate it up in the high 80's or low 90's as others have done. For the price of $AU17.95 i would have expected better. But i think i do need to drink some more Viogier's just to taste the difference between a Very Good one and an Average one. Would i recommend it to others? Perhaps not .. i'd be looking to taste another Viognier for the price. 81 might not seem high but on the scale it is still classified as a "Good" wine .. and it is a Good wine nothing more.

(Yalumba Viognier Eden Valley) Group's #3 (my #5) – 36 pts; 1, 1, 3, 1 – Light medium yellow color; light lemon and floral nose; chalk, high acidity, light entry with tangy, steely fruit mid-palate; short-medium finish (I guessed it was Viognier)

Wine Education Service - Viognier (South Hampstead High School): Biscuity, the a bit of fruit.
Subtle blend of fruit, acidity, solid mid palate, long.
