Very good. Excellent dark berries, some spice and forest floor. Long finish. Yummy. I would have rated 91 but always deduct one point for the poor customer service since Jackson bought them.

Medium dark ruby with some light funky nose. Bright red berry with some tartness and funky tannins, medium fruit and body a bit primary on the first night open. On night two the fruit is becoming balanced with the acid and tannins, some tart raspberries and cranberries along with forest, balsam, sorrel and cane tannins. Much better with some food.

Great light to medium bodied wine. Subtle spice (not as spicy as the Pierre Leon) with a hint of a variety of flavors that blend extremely well when transitioning from 55 degrees to room temp.
