  • An okay wine. it was worth the $12 I paid for it, but nothing special. Well balanced but it just doesn't have enough on the palate. There's like a mild apple flavor to it with a hint of stoniness like I get sometimes in Loire whites. I've had only a handful of arneis wines but my hunch is this was better a year to 18 months ago. This was nothing like the 2004 Il Fachetto Arneis I had in December. That wine rocked.

  • Consumed over three days with only slight degradation in quality. Color is a fairly intense golden-yellow. On the nose there is a bit of honeydew melon, a slightly candied honeysuckle scent, and it is perhaps a touch spirity. The weight is nice and sappy on the palate and there is some tingly acidity, however the fruit is quite subtle. The finish is disappointingly clipped with a somewhat harsh note that doesn't make me happy, which is why this bottle took three days to finish.
