Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 87.5 points

  • Alcohol: 14.5%
    Cork Type: The Zork
Nose/Bouquet: nice black cherry and vanilla chocolate in the background
Flavor/Palate: Smooth Black Cherry with hints sweet chocolate and red raspberry. A complex body that is very full
Finish: soft tannins that turn away quickly
    Color: Garnet Red
    Chill Factor: 60 F
    Decanter/Breathing time: 60 minutes
Potential: Could Cellar until 2010, but can drink right away
Food: Good before, during and after dinner. We drank it with various cheese
Overall Opinion: This is an Outstanding Grenache 80% and Shiraz 20% blend. We would buy this vintage again. A fantastic Wine at a Great price. Good for a beginner starting their cellar, but recommend for everyone. We drank this with friends on 10/20/2007 and we all raved about it
