Decanted for 1 hour. Big, intense, medium palate, lots of olives. Tannins are very, very fine and only in the finish. This has a long, long, finish. This can only be enjoyed with food. What's interesting is that there is not much fruit taste or dimension. Not that the fruit is gone but the wine is so rich and closed. Do I like it? It's a very unique, hand-crafted wine that I very much recognize and appreciate. I think with at least another 2-3 hours of air time it will show more complexity.
