  Despite being 13 years old, this wine is not fading. No browning edges, no musty smells, nothing. Closed up upon opening, it came alive after about an hour of decanting. Great black cherry, slight oak and herbal notes on the nose. Great acidity, fruit, tannins and overall balance. Nice, long rounded finish. This is a great WA Merlot that has many years ahead of it.
