  • An intriguing blend of what would usually be found as Southern Rhône varieties. Ultimately I found it good and well made but not perhaps for me. A bit neutral. This style is something I rarely drink to be honest but CdP top level wineries need not worry about this.

  • Lovely blend of cab sauv, shiraz, mouvedre, petit verdot and viogner.
Deep ruby colour, intense aromas of plums, blackberry, bramble, pepper, spices and toast...
On the palate is full bodied, very ripe tannins and nice medium + acidity. Really structured ,layers and layers of flavours, berries then chocolate, then vanilla and then pepper. Really smooth, 14% alcohol but you don t notice it.
Only the finish could be longer but overall a really pleasant wine.
    Cheers

  • According to label, a blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Mourvedre and Viognier. Very ripe and sweet, but not annoyingly so. More acidity would improve this but despite its relative simplicity it is an enjoyable bottle. I have had far worse at the same price. I think Syrah dominates and if I was told this was 100% Syrah I would be easily persuaded to agree.
Jammy dark fruits, spice, pepper, oak, vanilla, prune.
