Pop and pour from refrigerator but much better closer to room temperature. This bottle showed with very masculine minerality with hints of caramel and citrus. The caramel paired extremely well with triple-cream brie. These are nuanced wines that I should stop putting in the fridge.

Pretty Awesome Pinots: Two hour decant in a glass jar. 3.5 - 4 oz pour. Not sure how their is such a discrepancy between notes....maybe bottle variation? This wine was obviously young and very acidic. In fact, I wasn't even sure it was Chardonnay. I did not get the creaminess, the butter nor the oak that others commented on. I would not be surprised if someone told me it was unoaked or saw very little oak. I did however get plenty of fruit (lemon zest and tart green apple) and acid, with some minerality. I will hold my 3 bottles for at least another year or two, for the acids to tone down a bit. I could detect notes of melon and pear, but they were clearly hiding behind the acidity. There were also notes of limestone and hints of seashell. I suspect this wine will show much better in the future. 91+ for now, but potential to improve on that score.

Pinot noir from Everywhere, except everyone but me brought Oregon (Everyone's House): Served blind, I did not recognize this as chardonnay. This wine seemed acidic and slightly lean, with pear, lime and and white flowers. I suspect (but am not certain) 2 years cellar time will improve this, although it really is captivating right now.

Open that Bottle Night (Prior Lake, MN): Solid showing with candied fruits, mild oak, spice, floral and lemon. Medium finish. Drink now to 2025.

Quite a hit, in a great place. Smooth rich mouthfeel with elegant hints of pear and peach.
