Another Saturday at Chevalier...Mostly Blind (Chicago, IL): Tasted double blind. Clearly seemed to be fully mature Pinot Noir, but light on acidity so i wasn't sure if from Burgundy. Good weight and concentration with a fun cross-section of black and red fruit along with leather and braised meat. Moderate weight and length.

This did not do it for me. Somewaht lacking concentration, it had a muted nose. Others did like the maturity, but I found it lacking grip and sole. Drink.........

Floral nose with elements of cooked game. Starts with lots of red fruit, lots of oak and spice. Red and black cherry flavors develop nicely over moderately good finish. I didn't find much acidity or structure here, so would expect this to be a Grand Cru best consumed young.
