Tasted at the winery. A blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chambercin and Syrah. Mostly LMS grapes but I think the Syrah was sourced from the West coast. Medium bodied. Moderate red fruit. 81 points.

Unique and inspired blend of vinifera and hybrid red grape varieties. The nose is earty, dusty and rustic. Noticable dry tannins on entry. Muterd cherry and other red fruits iniially that open up nicely with some swirling, and really start to grow on you. Like moat Michigan wines, delicate and light but still full flavored. Opens up to some blueberry and buttery richness. Some roundness from oak. Mulberry, cherry, and graphite on the finish.

Tasted at winery. Aromoa of black fruit and earth. Fig, tobacco and cedar in the mouth. Interesting blend and the best wine tasted at this Michigan winery.
