Deep golden at the core. Pronounced nose with butterscotch, popcorn, caramelised almonds - really fresh. Palate was super fresh and almost zingy with stewed apples, nuts, almonds, and caramel. Long, long length.
Golden color. Fine nose of buttered popcorn, olive oil and lots of spices with hints of caramel and minerals. Seems perfectly aged with lots of brown spices and caramel/mineral flavors with a good spine of acidity. Finishes with uplifting complexity with loads of spicy minerals and a hint of hazelnuts. Very ripe and full-bodied for a wine of this age and from what some considered an off vintage. Paired beautifully with sweet crabcakes. Wonderful aged white Burgundy.
