World's Greatest - Night II (Daniel): Nose is dialled down from the CSD. Somewhat musty. Sweeter red cherry without the depth and intensity of ten CSD. Spectacular on the palate though. Rich, developed, and a generous and lingering finish. The Dujacs tonight are certainly the most consistent across vineyards, and are all gorgeously perfumed and finessed.

Wine of the Night against a line-up of 85 Dujac Bonnes Mares, 85 Roumier Bonnes Mares and 83 Rousseau Chambertin. On the nose, a thoroughly elegant sweet perfume with hints of spice, red fruits and earthy notes. The palate was even more enjoyable as it just stretched on and on, revealing mutiple layers of complexity evolving around game, sweet and ripe red fruit and all the pleasures one would derive from a fine bottle of mature red Burgundy. Seductive and exquisite.

Deeper nose but with less soft spice and floral notes than the CSD and Clos de la Roche.
