Fantastic bottle. Felt like ten years not twenty years old. Lovely fruity floral perfume, elegant body and decent power, plenty of fruit on the palate as well, we enjoyed this right out of the gate and over 2.5 hours it was steady as can be. A great pickup from winebid; thanks to the winemaker and thanks to the original owner who stored it so well. This is why fine wine is made and stored, sold at a perfect QPR.

Fortunately, this bottle held up well! It was not spectacular, but it was juicy, with plum notes, and it had a nice, smooth finish. It went very well with steak with BBQ sauce.

Medium dark with a slight clearing on the rim. Nose of dried cherries and some earthy tones. Medium weight with some immediate black cherry. Tannins have softened and were all but gone within the half hour this wine lasted. Quite well regarded by all who tasted it with a note of dark chocolate by a few of the tasters. Medium long finish. Although I'd hoped for some added complexity, I believe we drank this at a perfect moment. This is why you cellar wine.

This particular bottle didn't have much on the nose or palate. I think it was either flawed or didn't cellar well. It was still drinkable although I was disappointed it didn't show better.

Well balanced, old world on the nose, but new world palette. Slightly jammy with some spice.
