Megan and Alex in NY: bought on release. crazy qpr of course. much deeper color than on release. more nutty as well. orange and raisin still dominating but with hints of nuttyness and a ripe bright acidity keeping this ... ok not light... but from being cloying. touch of heat ( i pnp from the cellar - this needed to be a touch colder IMO) molasses and caramel. YUM

Consumed over about a week. Looks like Grade B maple syrup, and only slightly less thick. Molasses, raisin, prune and butterscotch. Pretty much what other tasters report. Was best on first and second nights; lost some energy after that. 93-94 initially, fading to 88-89 at the end. Drink or hold.

Ridiculous stuff, in the possible sense. Mellowed out a bit with age, but still like drinking a big glass of liquid butter tarts.

CellarTracker Texas Offline II - Part Three (McKinney Performing Arts Center, McKinney, Texas): Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Somewhere between amber and light brown in color, clear looking throughout. Nose of brown sugar, sorghum, tea and straw. Flavors of tea, sorghum and almonds. Medium acidity, medium body. Drink now and I mean now. 92+.
