The Red Wine of the Night goes to 1999 Domaine Leroy Pommard Les Vignots, in blind it showed impressive depth and power. My guess was Domaine Leroy Vosne Romanee 1er 2000. Tasted blind - Deeply laced spiced dark fruits and exotic fragrant. Rich and glossy with fragrant wholecluster, great complexity. Leroy Vosne Romnaee 1er? 2000? (90/100)

Burgs & Barolos (Bronte): light/medium dark cherry. cherry and plum nose with a soft hint of spice. very clean. bright sweet fruits, soft fine tannin to close and good acidity, nicely balanced, especially for Pommard. rich fruit and earthy blend lingers on the finish, delicious.

Medium red in color, nose of Leroy floral petals, dark red fruit, medium plus palate with quite a lot of extractions and a bit extracted. Not an elegant red but a very good Pommard.
