A Few Wines at Wally's Inaugural Wine Auction (Whitney Museum of American Art - New York NY): Served alongside the Chevillon 1985 les Saint Georges. Lean and elegantly styled, this is a thoughtful wine that has great balance and finesse but requires attention. More earth than fruit with lots of minerality and textures. The LSG in the next glass had "more" of almost everything but didn't quite show the same grace and harmony.

Beautiful light ruby, clear and bright. First whiff was fantastic, light fresh floral scents. Clean elegant Pinot fruit, crisp lively finish. Delightful mature red burgundy
