Chef's Table @ Brooklyn fare - round 2! (Chef's Table @ Brooklyn Fare, Brooklyn, NY): Appearance: cloudy ruby red. Nose: deep and to die for: Sauvage, cherry, a little herbal and vegetal. Meaty - just great. Screaming out of the glass at first. Mouth: soft but w structure, dark cherry w an acidic spine - sharp in a good way for me. Meaty, stewed tomatoes like some old burgs. Lots of secondary aromas and some moving into tertiary - but still great. Probably past its peak a bit, but hits my sweet spot - maybe not for everyone. Nose: 6/6, Palate: 5/6, Finish: 5/6, Je ne sais quoi (wild card): 2/2 = 18/20 = 96/100.

- Brick color - Amazing fruit! Mouth covering wine. Cover the palate with a tone of fruit still. Beautiful brick color
