| | Tasted by Richard M on 1/31/2010 & rated 91 points: Singing right now, far and away the best example of this wine that I have tasted (the 4th of a case). Cherries, cherries and cherries backed up with a hint of smoke and garrique. Not overly complex, just hedonism. (163 views) |

| | Tasted by LWI on 1/3/2010 & rated 90 points: Again a lovely bottle. Fully mature, but with ample tannins and acidity to keep it alive for many years. (283 views) |
| | Tasted by Anonymous on 12/26/2009: Mature tints. This bottle was quite different than others in having a definite element of surmaturite with some fig as well as spicy herbs. That said, the body was not that viscous, and the fruit did not come across as cooked or too sweet. A surprise given recent experience with this wine. (388 views) |
| | Tasted by winemaker on 11/7/2009 & rated 92 points: Terrific CdP! This wine was singing tonight. Cherry fruit, definitely grenache dominated in taste. Color makes you think the Syrah and Mourvedre would be more prominent. Does not have that Mourvedre trademark earthiness. Tastes clean. 2nd of 6 bottles. 4 to go. This is in a good place now, but will hold for some time. Cellared since release at 58 degrees. (581 views) |

| | Tasted by captainmarty on 10/9/2009: Great after 60-90 minutes decanting. Fair amount of sediment. Went south as we finished the decanter at about 2 hours. (712 views) |
| | Tasted by Anonymous on 8/30/2009: This wine was hitting on all cylinders - really everything one expects in mature CDP, great herbes de provence nose, texture and complexity. Prior bottles had not been as intteresting. Another lesson in the virtures of patience. (839 views) |
| | Tasted by Anonymous on 8/27/2009: The bottle variation here has been stunning. This one was very nice. Fully mature, but could hold for a while. Nice, ripe fruit and a solid finish. A- (954 views) |

| | Tasted by Harry Cantrell on 6/10/2009 & rated 91 points: garnet with orange hints around. Nose was all garrigue, dried herbs, fruit very much in the background. Taste was good, smooth with those herbs. A good bottle this time-there is significant variation with the year and this producer. (1213 views) |

| | Tasted by Anonymous on 3/10/2009: I've had several bottles from the same case, and the good ones are an A-, with solid fruit and leather. The lesser bottles are a bit thin, tired, and a B, tasting more like a tired CDR. This one was an A-. (1549 views) |
| | Tasted by winemaker on 3/10/2009 & rated 91 points: Fully mature with sweet cherry fruit combined with some garrigue. A clean tasting CdP. This should hold for some time. (1512 views) |
| | Tasted by Anonymous on 2/25/2009: Much like my last bottle 5 months ago, except this had fruit that was less bright and emphasized complex garrigue and lavender in an elegant package. Seems fully mature and is a very pleasant drink right now. (1612 views) |
| | Tasted by Spencer on 2/14/2009 & rated 92 points: Fully mature and drinking beautifully. Balanced, pure Chateauneuf. (1549 views) |
| | Tasted by Mike V on 2/2/2009 & rated 91 points: Continues to be a GREAT bottle. (1639 views) |
| | Tasted by Anonymous on 1/24/2009: Spicy, brambly, underbrush in a full-bodied, exquisite finish that goes on for 30+ seconds. Some sour cherry and floral notes (1548 views) |
| | Tasted by Anonymous on 1/18/2009: Best showing for this wine so far, at least in my experience. Always sort of underwheming, but better this time. Correct Provencal, kirch and spice armas, with a dried fruit quality that is hard to describe. Medium wight, good fruit presence, balanced acids, showing some nice development and complexity. Not flashy, but exactly true to what a CDP is meant to be. Complete wine. (1552 views) |
