w tuna caserole on friday nite in Rhinebeck. Great dark yellow color with nutmeggie nose and pear fruit. On the palate a great balance of fruit and spices. Great finish. Went well with the food which had some weight. Bought in 2007 or so. Drink now though. This will not get better
Was afraid this one might be past its prime and was, in fact, showing color maturity, BUT, was absolutely wonderful!! Not dominated by oak, merely the voluptuousness of tropical fruits. The high alcoholic content was not apparent. Williams Selyem is known for its Pinots but their Chards and Zins are highly underrated! Drink Now.
