Thick and viscous, straw like Color my last bottle and drinking wonderfully Still lots of life left in this beauty. Mineral driven with a touch of butterscotch with a touch of apple and pear.

Midwinter, 27 July, 2020 (Pokai Parera, Ekatahuna, New Zealand): Very developed, vivid butterscotch aromas and flavours, a touch of oxidation, but in general while certainly (well) past its peak, the wine is still very vibrant and long, and is not showing any signs of drying out.

Weekend of food and wine; 4/13/2017-4/16/2017 (Las Vegas): Nose showing a beautiful mix of myer lemon and butterscotch. Palate had good acidity and a very mineral driven profile. Although oak is very apparent on the nose it is more restrained on the palate. Nice balance, myer lemon, chalk minerality and a very creamy smooth texture.

La Paulée de New York Gala Dinner (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): Small La Paulee pour from magnum. Very rich orchard fruit throughout, wonderfully vibrant and energetic with impressive density.
