  • No signs of bricking, but showing some signs of raisin and prune on the palate. Still some red fruit and subtle spice. Overall good, but not great. Likely just a hair past prime.

  • This bottle was singing tonight. Absolutely delicious merlot blend that was smooth, balanced, deep. Could taste the merlot on the finish. Nice nose. Some hints of chocolate and light spices. Made me smile with each sip! Killer QPR

  • Very nice blend that has aged well. A little air balances and smooths the wine up nicely. Drank best on 2nd day. Some vanilla and cherry pie on the nose. Cherry, plum and raspberry fruited on the palate with some nice acidity on the pleasantly tart finish. Some notes of tobacco and tea leaves. Nice value.

  • There is some serious wow factor here! A blend of 49% Merlot, 29% Cabernet Franc and 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, this comes across as a New World version of a high class Pomerol. A gorgeous nose of plum, candied red fruit and a pronounced note of vanilla is enticing. The palate is so smooth and seductive with its soft, plush mouthfeel. Flavours of plum and boysenberry get added complexity from the notes of baking spices. The tannins are smooth and polished. At peak now, this is a delicious Washington version of a Right Bank blend. www.advinetures.ca

  • Winner of the night in an evening of top shelf wines. Consumed in 2016 at the age of 12. This wine absolutely nails the mark and is standing the test of time.
Rich aromatics that shift and evolve. A moving target of desiccated blue and black fruits. Blueberry pie, vanilla spice, graphite, cassis - all made an appearance at one time or another. Developed fantastically in the 90 minutes it lasted.
The sheer power of this wine is staggering and believe it or not, I would say drink or hold - up to another 8 or more years. It still has that much fruit.
