3/1/2009 rated 90 points: Big fruit on the nose. Raspberry and cherry on the palate tamed by a full-bodied base of smooth light tannins and oil. Long delicious finish. Great with pork loin and especially with dark chocolate for dessert. (2 views)

Drank last bottle about six months ago and no material changes to note. Nice dark cherries on the nose and finish. A bit more spice and smoke in the bouquet. Remain of the opinion that this is unlikely to improve too much with cellaring; consume before 2009 finishes.

We drank this side-by-side with a Red Car Amour Fou. In contrast to the Amour Fou, the Sisky was light, fruity, silky, and even had a little chalky grit. The nose was much more open that the brooding Amour Fou. There is some plum in the fruit, which gave it some slight silk in the finish. All in all, everyone at the dinner preferred the Sisky over the Amour Fou. The Siskey was a much more typical Pinot, than the Amour Fou brooding beast. Drinking great now. No need to wait.

Time has moved this wine to 90 points, with the fruit giving way to more earth and complexity.
