This has evolved into a cranberry rimmed wine that reaches all the way to the core with that color. No longer does it project light gobbling purple. No longer is it a tight wine on the nose and palate. The nose is now filled with cherry, cola, mocha, thyme and dusty rose. On the palate those notes are expanded with Asian 5 spice and a finish of vanilla. The mouthfeel is deep and full. The wine tosses out both sediment and tartrates. 13.5% alc. With grilled bone-in pork chops having been rubbed with cocoa and ancho chile. Recommended.

Got to this a bit late. Not the punch it and the 05s had back a year or two. Still likely the flavor profile (a distinct PN nose, rose petal and bramble), served with cedar plank Atlantic salmon. A crowd pleaser in its youth, now a bit past prime. Drink up.

I liked this, a classic pinot profile. Dust/rust, baking spices, precise, not flabby just flavorship. Matched with roast chicken and fingerlings. Better than the '05 Keefer opened a few weeks ago as it held more structure. Will drink my last one within the year as this was in a good place.

Love the PN nose, but earthiness is starting to overpower the fruit. Slightly sour on the palate. Drink up.

Great effort from Loring again! Classic Pinot, good combination of earth and fruit - I want more of this!
