  • I swear this is my favorite Rosso no matter how many others I try. Classic aromas, flavors and finish!

Color: Dark red center changing to maroon and vibrant ruby edges

Nose: Cherry, crushed flowers, some leather, and aromatic spice and cedar.

Palate: Cherry, a sweet-tartness to the cherry, some cedar, great texture and mouth feel, perfect acidity!

  • Beautiful deep ruby color. Rich red sour cherry fruit, smoky, leathery aromas. A bit tart, but ready to go now, especially with food. We had with pasta but this would be great with grilled steak.

  • Dark ruby color, some ambering. Full tones of blackcurrant, cherry and hints of tobacco. Full bodied on the palate with smooth fruit tones and chewy tanines. Medium finish. Could still use some time. Drink now - 2009. Nice example of a 'Baby Brunello'. Less aproachable than most RdM but has more body and complexity.

  • Medium-dark ruby/garnet colour. Aromas of cherry, earth, orange rind, and currant. Medium-bodied, fresh tasting, surprisingly tannic for a rosso. Notes of red fruit all the way through to the 20s finish. Needs another 6-8 months in bottle to settle down. Best rosso I've had in a while.
