Nice dark color. Elements of black cherry & soy. Sweet cherry with good mineral balance & a lush mouthfeel. Acids & tannins kick in on the finish. Good dinner wine.

In a blind test I might not guess this to be a Pinot. It is much darker and richer than a typical Oregon-style Pinot, although it still has that signature earth and rain nose, but a much fuller feel in the mouth. Very enjoyable

Comparitive tasting of California Pinot Noir vs Burgandy. It's amazing how there can be such a big difference between wines made from the same varital. This pinot noir was a little darker in color then I would have expected This was a highly extracted wine that didn't quite have everything in balance but was still drinkable and a reasonable price.
