  Light, tawny color. Wild nose of pomegranate liquer, spice, cherry blossom and the barest hint of animale. Medium bodied and just lightly tannic and acidic. This is perfectly mature, perhaps old but in a beautiful place! Still fruity and vivacious, this seems youthful in some ways yet mature in others. What an interesting wine! Beautiful fruit and blossoms extend through the finish. Delicious! 92

  The same price on a restaurant list as 92 montrose and 97 pave-maquin. Even accounting for age and style, this was a bad wine. Simple, jammy fruit, little body, short finish. Quality level of an average supermarket wine.

  Whoa... fruity. Cola nut, Vietnamese cinnamon, violets, and smoked meat on the nose. Somewhat off-putting smoothed out happy tannins on the midpalate, but good finish, sweet fruit, and nice length. This ain't no Bandol, but it's good for what it is.
