Amazing deep rich golden color. Very intense nose of tropical fruits (litchi, papaya...), wild honey...hmmmm! I was afraid it would be too rich and a bit heavy on the palate, but it wasn't at all. Rich, perfect acidity that makes the wine feel lighter than it really is. A gorgeous 20-year old wine that can last an additional 20 years.

Easter dinner at Alan & Lehna's house. Dark Amber in color, this wine was very good but also somewhat disappointing. Not as much sweetness as I expected for a #12 and also relatively low in acidity. Figs and molasses in a medium bodied package with a relatively short finish. Not cloying but just a little flat. Hopefully just bottle variation and the next one will be better. 50+12+11+7+7=87

Dig it. Shows the texture of a TBA, thicker and meatier, yet displays great balance of golden apple and apricot. Neither cloying nor sticky, was very good.

A 65th Birthday Celebration, Slightly COVID Delayed (EL Ideas - Chicago IL): Small glass, brief note. Fresh and dried apricot with impressive density. So very sweet, but bright enough to come across as bright, lively and balanced through its long-ish finish. No hurry to drink up.

Amber color with dried apricot nose and palate. Silky, sweet and delicious. Nice glycerin mouthfeel on the finish.
