  • My last one finished on a similar high as the last two, but paired really well with a Tuscan veal stew and the food just lit this wine up to a more youthful profile.

  • Decanted 2 hours
Initinall taste at open was mildly solid
    Color: Deep purple
    Good bouquet at pour
Taste of dark fruit, plum etc.
    Solid finish.

Compared to the 204 which was weak, and required much more age.

  • Decanted but less time than the last one 2+ years ago to open up. Beautiful nose of classic Brunello qualities with some slight cooked fruit maturity. Great plum and sour cherry with some cocoa on the palate and a rich lingering finish with some slight acidity which helped this pair nicely with italian salami and cheeses.

  • Had last night. Popped about 1/2 hour before drinking, but great nose was apparent from the start. Paired wtih braised short ribs and asparagus risotto- nice match. This wine is in a beautiful place right now, both acidic and fruit strong and tannics dry from start to a long finish, and that nose is just wonderful. Remaining half in 375 for tonight. We'll see if it holds together or develops further.

  • Great Brunello, and drinking really well. Decanted for an hour+ and had with a new year's eve spaghetti dinner. Brick colored, very smooth, and nice balance of slightly earthy foundation with nice fruit and a very full mouthfeel. One of the best Brunello's we've had in a while.
