13.6% abv. Screwcap closure. Winemaker: Brian Loring. Dijon clones 114, 115, 667, and 777. 50% new and 50% used French oak barrels for 10 months. A pretty robust Pinot but seemed to mellow some by the third evening open. I had it with beef tacos and a chicken/vegetable casserole the third evening. Red and dark berries on the nose and palate. Some savory notes also.

This was a little mustier than I would have liked with the fruit clearly beginning to fade. By no means a bad wine, but it lacked some elegance and body. Mid-palate was a bit hollow. I wouldn't advise holding any longer.

Popped and poured. It tasted and acted like pinot The nose was quite expressive from the beginning, though it did gain in intensity and complexity over the course of a couple hours. The palate may not have quite lived up to the promise of the nose...cranberry, red fruits, only slightly tart of the shortish finish. Given the other notes here, this wine performed much better than I had expected.
